I thought I'd take a little time out to let people know what to expect tomorrow at St Donat's Castle Showcase.
So the venue itself - a stunning medieval castle just outside the town of Llantwit Major, steeped in history and sitting sweetly on the Glamorgan Heritage Coastline. Not only the coastal views to admire but equally the gardens and grounds are exceptional. Head inside to Bradenstoke Hall to discover a wedding space with the wow factor.
Doors open at 11am. You'll be greeted by hosts Town and Country Catering who are the exclusive caterers at the castle. Canapés and bubbles on arrival and a friendly show around this beautiful venue. Les and his team will be able to answer your questions having held the catering spot at the castle for a number of years.
2nd February Showcase is purely to have the opportunity to spend some time at this beautiful place, see it set up for a wedding and chat to some people who may help you along the way. There isn't a whole bunch of stands and suppliers just a couple of us who have teamed up with Town and Country Catering and St Donat's Castle to try and help you envisage what your big day could look like. Plenty of space, plenty of time, we hope you'll enjoy it.
We're so pleased that we've been asked to join the team and hope to bring you a whole bunch of ideas for your big day. We have a top table and 7 other round tables all dressed for you to see. We've collaborated with Amanda French Flowers who will also be on hand to advise and answer questions. We have 8 different table designs and I have a couple of signs and table plans in place. I see it as a chance to bounce some ideas around with you, show you some options, alternatives, ideas.
I understand that Alun Roberts has been invited to offer some live music for you and Chris Andrews Photography on hand to chat over those all important wedding shots.
St Donat's Castle has limited availability for 2020 and dates available for 2021.
